WNfour Soccer coaches are USSF and United Soccer Coaches Association licensed and are focused on individual and team success. We put emphasis on player development while instilling passion for the game.
Our History
About Our Founder:
Matt Lannon is a licensed and certified soccer/ football coach with over 10 years experience supporting the development of youth soccer teams. Matt grew up playing youth and college soccer in the UK. He proceeded to work for the semi-professional club Ashton Town in his native England. There he earned both his FA Level 1 and Level 2 licenses.
Upon moving to the United States, Matt obtained his National and Advanced National diplomas from the United Soccer Coaches organization which focus on technical and tactical coaching of soccer players in 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 youth formats.
He has also completed his National Youth License and USSF D licenses from the United States Soccer Federation supporting his understanding and implementation of appropriate training protocols for players 11 and under. Matt focuses his training to cover the physical, cognitive, and social demands of the game in a child's context.
Matt Lannon is currently the Managing Director of WNfour Soccer, comprehensive training organization of elite coaches that support the development of youth soccer clubs and players across Long Island.
